On Saturday, 15 th June 2013, at 16 o’clock at the Estrade Hall of the Culture House of Teplice the main referee will start the first game of the VIII. annual international chess tournament Open Teplice 2013. Let me kindly invite you to this tournament. Many of you are already familiar with the enviroment and the service, which we provide at our tournament. It has become a tradition that throughout the tournament the paricipants can get some refreshment, cofee and mineral water for free. This tradition will be held also this year. We will offer online transmission of 16 chessboards plus interesting supporting programme which will be dealt later. But there will be one change after all. Our tournament was affected by the all-embracing rise in the prices. We had to serve time. But we found our own way how to do so. Instead of putting up the entrance fee, we have improved the prize money from last year’s 30.000 CZK to 33.000 CZK.

Dear friends. We will welcome with pleasure all of you, who has already participated the tournament in our spa town, and also everyone, who will come for the first time. We will try to prepare a pleasant environment in which you will meet friends and measure your strength with others.
